I keep watching this video again and again even after 14 years. I used to be a kid in my middle school back then, learning how to use the web in my old Windows XP noisy beige computer. RUclips was magic prior 2009, and I am still nostalgic for that era. I used to watch movies directly on RUclips! Social media and big brother tech industry ruined every aspect of the good old comfy internet. Forums were great. I will be 27 soon, and I think how much thing has changed since that day: 3 cats died, 3 gfs, depression and anxiety disorder happened and passed away, I learned to play guitar, I graduated as a Physical Therapist, I cut my hair, I am starting a family. And that video, well, it's always here.

this video is part of my childhood. when I was younger I made some stop motion videos to emulate this video, that still holds up in 2021 to me. I hadn't seen it in a while, watching this again after years hit like a rock in terms of nostalgia!

MY CHILDHOOD

I was seven years old when this came out. That year, I went to my grandparents' house for Christmas. The only access to RUclips I had was their crappy desktop, and I remember distinctly watching this in awe of how cool it was. I had seen nothing like it. 13 years later, that house has long been foreclosed and my grandfather has since passed. This video brings me back to those simpler times.

This was the first RUclips video I ever saw

that c3p0 riding the segway at 1:14 always made me laugh. This video spurred me on a several month long scouring on ebay for this very set, when I was like 11.. stole a lot of its design and transferred it to the 2011 falcon which is much sturdier. Love this original set though, fantastic video.
